After an intense restoration project, the new #safehaven has emerged and
is thriving!
We traveled through
many nets and finally moved to Starlink-IRC in November 2002. Here
we have found a nice, stable and well administered home.
You will find people from all over the world in here - all very
different, but all with one aim
...to make chat fun.
We feel like a family in #Safehaven, and we welcome newcomers. Our
channel enjoys wavs, mp3's and small popups ... but most of all good
humour and broad minds!

There are channel @operators in #Safehaven (not all at once of course!),
but you will find they are quite lenient and just want you to enjoy your
stay without being offensive to anyone else in the channel.
Since #Safehaven
becomes quite busy in the evenings (US time),
we have standard conduct guidelines, and people will only be kicked if
they blatantly abuse them.
